Common Core: Too much centralization
Giving parents and students more options and alternatives is a better approach than Common Core
Any initiative aimed at improving education performance nationally must ultimately earn the broad support of both parents and educators.  The Common Core State Standards Initiative (CCSS) has drawn intense concern from parents, conservative think tanks, educators and teachers union alike.

Ron favors expanding school choice and charter schools, not Common Core.

For more information about Common Core and its many problems, visit this resource page from the Heritage Foundation.
