Republican National Convention Delegate/Alternate Slate for California
Information and application
The Ted Cruz for President campaign will file with the California Secretary of State prior to the June 7, 2016 primary election a slate of proposed Republican delegates to the Republican National Convention consisting of three delegates for each of the state’s 53 congressional districts, plus 10 statewide. The campaign will also file a slate of alternate delegates.
In each Congressional District where Ted Cruz wins the plurality of the vote in the Republican Presidential Primary the delegates and alternates put forward by the Ted Cruz for President campaign shall become the official delegates to the Republican National Convention which shall take place in Cleveland, Ohio July 18 – 21, 2016.
California Republicans actively supporting Ted Cruz for President of the United States interested in serving as delegate to the 2016 Republican National Convention should complete this form. Applicants who are selected for consideration will be notified by email and additional information shall be requested at that time.
Applicants are required to:
Delegates are responsible for all costs related to traveling to and participating in the Republican National Convention, including transportation, accommodation, and related costs and fees.
This form requires applicants to indicate the Congressional District in which they live. Find Your House District
The Ted Cruz for President campaign reserves the exclusive right to select all individuals to be included in the Ted Cruz delegate slate and/or to otherwise involve in the Republican National Convention in conjunction with the campaign.
Only individuals applying for a delegate/alternate position through this form will be considered.

- Answer all questions truthfully and completely.
- Be a registered member of the Republican Party in California for at least one year.
- Commit to attend the 2016 Republican National Convention in person, and to not move out of the Congressional District in which he or she currently lives, or change party registration prior to July 21, 2016.
- Make additional commitments related to participating in the Republican National Convention.
